Clinging and Falling
And so hanging 5 floors above the ground, with nothing but space between your feet and the ground below, does something to your heart. Thank God for the assuring trainers telling you to let go trust them. Some say it felt like spiderman, some say it look like frogs, and most will not forget it.
The rain did not stop us from having fun. Though resistant at first, some of them were ready to roll down the slippery and muddy hill. But hey, when was the last time YOU played in the rain. =)

BCM Day
Last Friday, some of the campus group went up to BCM to wait tables. It was the annual Food and FunFair to raise fund for the school and Agapeans are always there to support! This year, we did something extra special – we set up a “Ben’s Coffee, Cakes & More” corner in one of the air-cond classrooms of BCM. (phew!)
So with aprons around our waists and notepad in hand, we set off to woe customers and serve them coffee, pastries and all kinds of mouth watering temptations. Many people visited. Many people had to share tables. Many people stood around for the air-cond too.
It was a long and tiring day for all of us. And some of us were so glad when it was all over. Some of us slept while waiting and missed clearing up. But at the end of the day it was worth it as we managed to rake over 2k. Thanks to all the delicious cakes and pastries all the aunties in our church made and donated!!
World Vision Rep
Last Saturday, Aspirers had a little visit from a few representatives who shared with the Campus group a little about what they do. It was interesting to hear their version of the story and the life that they lived.

Campus Gone Fishing
Last Week, The Campus Group went fishing!
It was a first for many of us and we were excited to cast a line! Thanks to Benji and Winston, we were properly provided and guided to fish! Some didn’t catch any, some were afraid of the worms, and some did in fact catch some fishies. But we practice ‘catch and release’ thus have no actual catch to show for.

We, the college aged group of Aspirers paid a visit to our outreach centre in Semenyih to minister and be a blessing to the people there. It was time to really do something as a group and with what we have to make an impact.We wanted to go out there and conquer the world and give something back to it… something that might make a difference.
But we were blessed in returned, by the warmth and friendliness that met us. We were the ones gaining the experience and stepping out into the frontier (some for the very first time). We were the ones who were enriched and re-charged by the experience.
So all in all. Thank you God for showing up, in the sanctuary and in our lives. Amen!
